Masters Program in Business Administration – Lateral Entry

'MBA (Lateral Entry)' program is designed to make working professionals, more state-of-the-art, so that they are more opportunistic and equipped with business skills. In this course you will learn:

  1. Principles of Management
  2. Basic principles of management like; division of work, authority, discipline, centralization or decentralization, remuneration, line of authority, order, equity, initiative, personnel’s tenure stability and esprit de corps.

  3. Management Accounting
    Capital expenditure projects, discounted cash flow techniques and it's application, negotiating term loans proposals with banks, merchant banking, underwriting of securities, internal funds as a source of finance etc.

  4. Organizational Behavior
    Analyzing the behaviors and motivations of people in businesses and other organizations through the study of Organizational psychology, the sociology of organizations, employee relations, leadership styles, power etc.

  5. Managerial Economics
    Value & trade, Demand & Supply, pricing in mass Markets, strategic thinking and incentives, economic decision-Making, determinants of value in trade etc.

  6. Business communication
    Basic principles of the communication loop and business correspondence, letter writing and the total know how of business language.

  7. Strategic Management
    Analyze and assess the external environment, to develop an internal assessment or capability matrix, assessment of various possible long-term objectives and generic strategies, Strategy Formulation, Strategy choice and Strategy implementation

Duration:  12 to 24 months
Eligibility Criteria: Graduate or equivalent with two year’s work experience
No of Subjects: Six + one specialization
